Tenure Track Position in Digital Media Arts – Graphic Design

The Digital Media Arts department at Hamline University (St. Paul, MN) seeks applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Graphic Design. Candidates must hold an MFA in Graphic Design, have a record of teaching excellence, and have a strong portfolio of professional work. The course load for this position will include a foundations-level visual design course, a two-course sequence in graphic design, and advanced level courses to be developed by the faculty member. Topics of interest include visual representations of data, typography, and UX design.

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the Senior Seminar course, regular portfolio reviews, ongoing curricular development, and assessment review. Candidates should also be willing to engage in collaborative research with students and to supervise internships or experiential learning.
